Hello friend, I’m Alexa!

I’m a San Diego based product designer with over 12 years of experience designing digital products with companies based out of Silicon Valley. Most recently, I’ve been focused on simplifying complex systems across pricing and checkout at Zendesk

Over the years, I’ve worked on products at scale, helping teams navigate messy, ambiguous problems and turn them into clear, usable design solutions. My work often sits at the intersection of people and business where clarity matters most and decisions have real impact.

These days, I’m especially interested in thoughtful, product-led work particularly in areas with AI, where design helps make sure complex systems are more understandable, useful, and human.

In this chapter…

A few years ago, my work extended more into content and the design community, sharing resources, teaching, and helping others break into the field. It was really rewarding and I loved every moment of it. I decided to pause on this work for the time being as I found myself working the hardest job of my life – becoming a mom.

Now as a parent, a lot has shifted. Not always in ways that are easy to explain, but in how I think, what I prioritize, and how I approach my work.

In this new season, I’m more focused, more thoughtful, and more precise. I’m also more patient, more organized, and more intentional in how I show up for my work, my team, and the people I’m designing for.

How I approach the work

The best work I’ve been part of hasn’t come from a single person. It’s come from strong teams, shared thinking, and the right environment.

I care about:

  • creating clarity for teams

  • making space for good ideas

  • and building trust across product, design, and engineering

Because great products don’t happen by accident. Great products are built intentionally and thoughtfully; they’re created together.
